- Joint stiffness

It’s important to note that tendinosis is not caused by one injury or traumatic event (known as tendonitis) but actually the result of repetitive use (overuse) of your rotator cuff and shoulder for an extended period of time or a shoulder injury that hasn’t fully healed. Treating rotator cuff tendinosis often requires you to stop or dramatically decrease the use of your shoulder to allow your body time to rest and fully heal itself.
Since the blood supply to tendons is rather low, recovery time can sometimes take up to three to six months, depending on the severity of your tendinosis and proactiveness in seeking medical attention. Through physical therapy and other treatments prescribed by Infinite Wellness, we work hard to get you feeling better and fully recovered as quickly as possible.
